Can we still convert to natural gas in Westchester due to the moratorium?
Con Edison has lifted the moratorium and is now excepting work orders. We are approved to handle gas work in Westchester County.
How much does an oil-to-gas conversion cost?
What is the SQ footage of the home? How many bathrooms are in the home? Are you installing a backup generator? Are you installing a high efficiency boiler? Is your forced hot air, steam or a hot water system? Do you already have gas in the home? Where is your existing oil tank, above or below ground? We’ve seen them cost anywhere from $9,000 to 20,000.
How long does an oil-to-gas conversion job take?
Since there are a number of parties involved – from plumbing to utility companies it’s hard to give a firm timeline.
